Job summary

Grab Singapore offers a Strategy internship within the Strategy & Insights team. The role focuses on supporting cross-functional projects, conducting market research, and delivering data-driven business insights to help drive Grab’s regional growth.

The successful candidate will be pursuing an MBA or undergraduate degree in Finance/Business/Economics/Management/Software Engineering/Data Science, with strong SQL and Python skills.

Qualifications

• MBA or undergraduate in Finance/Business/Economics/Management/Software Engineering/Data Science.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Capable to dissect complex analyses and translate into actionable business insights.
• Commitment full-time from January to May 2027.

Get to Know the Team

The Singapore Country team oversees, shapes, and grows the business in Grab Singapore. We contribute to Grab's vision of being Southeast Asia's superapp by providing everyday services that matter most to consumers in Singapore. We develop business strategies that help us achieve our vision of serving our community.

Get to Know the Role

As part of the Singapore Operations team, you will sit in the Strategy team within the Strategy & Insights team. The Strategy team is responsible for the Singapore Country Strategy. It works on top agenda, high impact projects spanning across all the businesses in Singapore, including Grab Financial Group, GrabFood, GrabCar, GrabAds, and GrabMart.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will support and coordinate projects with other teams to bring tangible impact to Grab's business
• You will conduct market research, track and compile industry trends
• You will conduct business analysis for high impact strategic topics
• You will provide strategic advice on business-critical issues by performing thorough research and organising complex information into applicable insights.
• You will conduct end-to-end analysis using SQL, Python, and Excel to translate results into relevant business insights

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• You are pursuing an MBA programme or undergraduate majoring in Finance/Business/Economics/Management/Software Engineering/Data Science
• Proficient in SQL and Python
• Capable to dissect complex analyses and translate these into applicable business insights
• Preferably able to commit full-time from January to May 2027
