Job summary

Sembcorp Utilities in Singapore is recruiting a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, generate work orders for corrective tasks, and assist with plant documentation, service reports, and visitor management. The role requires a background in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, hands-on use of a multimeter and infrared thermal scanner, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

You will report to the Plant Manager and work with engineers to ensure safe, reliable energy operations

Qualifications

• Background in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Usage of multimeter for electrical testing and troubleshooting.
• Usage of Infra Red Thermal Scanner for thermal inspection.
• Usage of Inspection Checklist.
• Boat operations and usage of lifebuoy.
• Operation and Maintenance of Fire Fighting Module.
• Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive Maintenance for the plant
• Generation of Work Orders for Corrective Maintenance
• Perform Corrective Maintenance in accordance to Work Instructions/Safe Work Procedures
• Help out with visitor management
• Assist with documentation of purchase orders, service reports and delivery orders
• Any other duties assigned by Plant Manager, Plant Engineer and/or Plant Specialists
