Job summary

QCP Group in Singapore is seeking a QA Intern to assist in automating UI tests with Playwright and perform manual test case execution. You will document results, contribute to test plans, and help reproduce and verify defects with developers and business users.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in CS/Engineering with basic programming skills in Python, Java or JavaScript, and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining automated UI and end-to-end tests using Playwright.
• Execute manual test cases and document results, ensuring thorough coverage of new and existing features.
• Contribute to writing test cases and test plans for new features with team feedback.
• Investigate test failures, log clear reproducible bug reports, and identify causes.
• Collaborate with developers and business users to reproduce, verify, and retest defects.
• Own a project to optimize QA workflow, using AI to map Jira tickets to test cases.

• Assist in developing and maintaining automated UI and end-to-end tests using frameworks such as Playwright.
• Execute manual test cases and document results, helping ensure thorough coverage of new and existing features.
• Contribute to writing test cases and test plans for new features, with review and feedback from the team.
• Investigate test failures, log clear and reproducible bug reports, and help identify potential causes.
• Collaborate with developers and business users to reproduce, verify, and retest defects.
• Own a project to optimize our QA workflow, using AI tools to turn Jira tickets into test cases and map out test scenarios and coverage.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic programming skills in at least one language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with SDLC/STLC and basic QA concepts such as test cases, bug reporting, and regression testing.
• Basic awareness of test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Experience with using AI tools.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts.
• Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a problem-solving mindset.
• Eagerness to learn and receive feedback
