Senior Scientist - Immunochemistry. Labcorp is seeking an Senior Scientist - Immunochemistry to join our team in Singapore. The Senior Scientist is responsible for the development, optimization, qualification, validation, troubleshooting, and execution of complex bioanalytical assays supporting nonclinical and clinical drug development programs. The role requires deep technical expertise in cell-based neutralizing antibody (NAb) assays and/or flow cytometry, with the ability to serve as a scientific subject matter expert (SME) for assay design, data interpretation, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will lead scientific initiatives, provide technical guidance to junior scientists, and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to support regulatory submissions and program milestones.
Serve as a subject matter expert in cell-based immunogenicity assays, particularly neutralizing antibody (NAb) assays. Lead the design, development, optimization, qualification, transfer, and validation of bioanalytical methods. Provide scientific leadership in troubleshooting complex assay performance, data quality, and platform‑related issues. Develop, optimize, and validate multicolor flow cytometry assays for pharmacokinetics, biomarker and functional cell‑based applications. Design staining panels, gating strategies, assay controls, and data analysis approaches. Analyze and interpret complex flow cytometry datasets using appropriate software platforms. Support technology evaluation and implementation of new flow cytometry methodologies.
Oversee the execution of regulated bioanalytical studies. Review raw data, assay performance metrics, and study results to ensure scientific accuracy and data integrity. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality study data and reports. Investigate and document assay deviations, out-of-trend results, and laboratory incidents.
Conduct work in accordance with applicable SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with GLP, GCP or other regulated laboratory environments, as applicable. Participate in audits, inspections, and client interactions as a technical representative. Support preparation and review of study reports, validation reports, SOPs, protocols, and regulatory documentation.
Provide technical mentorship and training to scientists and analysts. Collaborate with Study Directors, Principal Investigators, Project Managers, Quality Assurance, and clients to ensure successful study outcomes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and laboratory efficiency programs. Support business development activities, technical discussions, and proposal preparation when required.
