Job summary

InternSG is offering a full-time 6-month internship in Singapore focused on compliance and regulatory monitoring. You will assist with reviews of controls, AML/CTF programme monitoring, and substantial shareholding reporting.

Ideal candidates are pursuing degrees in Business, Finance, Accountancy, or Law with strong MS Office skills and an interest in process improvement and automation.

Qualifications

• Assist in compliance reviews and monitoring to assess control effectiveness.
• Support AML/CTF compliance programme reviews.
• Assist in shareholding reporting compliance.
• Handle ad-hoc compliance duties and projects.
• Undergraduate studying Business / Finance / Law or related fields.
• Commitment of 6 months full-time.

• Assist in compliance reviews and monitoring of controls.

Job description

• Assist and carry out compliance reviews and monitoring to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the controls and processes to comply with relevant regulations and internal Group and local framework and policies
• Assist in the review and monitoring of the compliance programme for Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Terrorist Financing legislations and procedures
• Assist in the review and monitoring of compliance with substantial shareholding reporting requirements
• Handle other compliance duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Undergraduate pursuing a degree in Business / Finance / Accountancy / Law or related fields
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Knowledge of programming / coding and/or AI tools is an added advantage, particularly for supporting workflow automation and process improvement initiatives.
• Attention to detail, careful and able to responsibly discharge duties assigned
• Good organization skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently within short deadlines
• Good writing, communication and interpersonal skills
• Fast learner who is self-motivated to deliver high-quality work and an excellent team player with a “can do” attitude
• Good IT and project management skills
• Able to commit 6 months (full time)
