Job summary

GenScript Biotech Corp. offers an internship focused on quality management and materials control. You will review CoA and release documents, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, and assist in maintaining ISO 9001 compliant SOPs.

You will engage with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely material testing and release. By participating in non-conformance investigations and other assigned tasks, you will gain hands-on experience in QMS, material management and product release

Qualifications

• Familiar with reading SDS-PAGE, LC-MS, HPLC and other protein detection reports.
• Detail oriented.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Good team working skills.

Responsibilities

• Review product CoA and other release documents to ensure they meet customer requirements.
• Manage controlled SOP to ensure ISO 9001 requirements are met.
• Coordinate incoming materials and work with stakeholders to ensure timing, testing, and release of materials.
• Participate in non-conformance investigations and liaise with procurement on outcomes.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for reviewing of product CoA and any other product release document to ensure it meet the customer requirement.

• Responsible for management of controlled SOP to ensure it meet ISO 9001 requirement.

• Responsible for in-coming material and work closely with key stakeholder to ensure timing testing and release of material.

• Participate in material non-conformance investigation and follow up with procurement timely on the supplier investigation outcome.

• Complete other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Key Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent

• Familiar with the reading and interpreting of SDS-PAGE, LC-MS, HPLC and other protein detection report

• Detail oriental

Key Learnings

By the end of this internship, you will:

• Develop a good understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and the role of a Quality Management System (QMS).

• Gain hands-on experience in critical material management, document control, and product release processes.

• Enhance problem-solving skills by conducting non-conformance investigations using quality tools such as Fishbone Diagrams, 5 Whys, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
