Job summary

InternSG in Singapore offers a full-time internship to support the team in building and back-testing financial models using various indicators. You will contribute to analyzing macro trends and presenting key findings to the team, while helping maintain the Graph library and create new charts.

The role involves streamlining monitoring templates for indicators and portfolio performance, assisting Portfolio Managers on market queries, and tackling ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing relevant field of study; degree or polytechnic diploma holders welcome.
• Finance/ accounting background is preferred but not required; internship with financial institutions is a plus.
• Strong interest in financial markets and an analytical mindset.

Job description

• To assist the team in creating and back-testing models using various indicators
• To assist in the coverage of evolving macro trends (such as existing and emerging behavioral trends in consumption and investment, etc) and present key findings to the team where required
• To assist team in the maintenance of Graph library and creation of new charts
• To assist the team on streamlining templates of monitoring indicators/ portfolio performance, etc
• To assist the Portfolio Managers on select market queries from management and/or clients
• To assist the team on ad-hoc projects

Job Requirements:

• Pursuing relevant field of studies, both Degree and Polytechnic Diploma holders are welcome to apply
• Have some finance / accounting related academic training preferred but not necessary and/or previous internship with financial institutions
• Interest in financial markets and an analytical mind
• Able to work independently to deliver high-quality work
• Good Team player
• Good presentation and writing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and AI tools
• Comfortable with using Python (Pandas Library) and VBA / Macros
• Open for full-time internship only
