Job summary

InternSG is seeking a curious and motivated intern to join its investment department in Singapore. You will work closely with investment professionals and gain hands-on exposure to understanding financial markets, investment funds and broader economic developments.

You will gain practical exposure to investment work, financial analysis and professional communication, building a foundation for future careers in investment, portfolio management, financial advisory, asset management, or other areas

• Explore how major economic events, monetary policy changes and global developments influence markets and investors
• Assist in preparing market updates, investment reports, summaries and presentation materials
• Contribute investment-related content and insights for use by financial advisers or within the team
• Support the assessment of funds, evaluation of opportunities and development of investment ideas
• Gain exposure to portfolio construction, investment approaches and long‑term market trends
• Help interpret financial information and turn complex data into clear, useful conclusions
• Work alongside the investment team on ongoing projects and assignments
• Attend fund manager visits, investment seminars, industry events and market briefings
• Observe how market analysis is applied in real‑world situations, including client discussions and portfolio recommendations
