Job summary

Jurong Port Pte Ltd is seeking a role to research best practices and regulatory standards, and to draft guidelines for equipment safety, operations, and enforcement. The role will define acceptable equipment categories and map approval workflows, including digital submission checklists and clear escalation paths.

Responsibilities

  • Research best practices and regulatory standards (e.g., WSH Guidelines, Singapore Standards
  • Draft equipment policy guidelines covering safety, operational boundaries, and enforcement
  • Define categories and criteria for acceptable mechanical equipment
  • Map out workflows for equipment registration and approval
  • Propose digital forms/checklists for equipment submission and documentation
  • Identify roles and responsibilities for approvals and escalations
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), system roll out, and users engagement
  • Assist in the development of a centralised system for tracking registered equipment, expiry dates, and inspection history
  • Maintain clear documentation of processes, templates, and policies
  • Support in preparing materials for external & internal briefings
  • Participate in pilot trials involving mechanical enhancements to forklifts and other port equipment
  • Assist in documenting trial objectives, capturing observations, and consolidating operational feedback
