Job summary

Marina Bay Sands offers a full-time internship in IT analytics to support innovations, improve operation processes, and leverage data analytics to provide insights to meet business demands.

You will engage in dashboards and reporting using Power BI and Tableau, develop Power Apps, and create SharePoint intranet pages. Training will be provided for those new to the tools, with emphasis on communication and collaboration across IT teams.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate pursuing a Degree in Information Technology/Management, Business/Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Research emerging technologies and best practices for performance management
• Support identification and evaluation of processes to enhance IT performance
• Assist in organizing, archiving, and maintaining data artifacts
• Assist in updating and collating data to support centralised data sources
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and visuals using Power BI and Tableau
• Generate ad-hoc reports and visualisations based on business needs
• Contribute to automation and streamlining of analytics reporting processes
• Develop Power Apps to enhance IT operations
• Create proof-of-concept intranet pages using SharePoint
• Support IT communication reports through content curation and design

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to support innovations, improve operation processes and leveraging data analytics to provide insights to improve IT Performance to meet Business demands.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct research on emerging technologies, industry best practices, and innovative solutions relevant to performance management.

• Support the identification and evaluation of processes that can enhance IT performance and analytics capabilities.

• Assist in organizing, archiving, and maintaining data artifacts to ensure accessibility and integrity.

• Assist in updating and collating data to support departmental initiatives aimed at centralizing data sources.

• Support the development of dashboards, scorecards, and visual reports using tools such as Power BI and Tableau.

• Generate ad-hoc reports and visualizations based on business requirements.

• Contribute to the automation and streamlining of analytics reporting processes.

• Develop Power Apps to enhance operational efficiency across IT functions.

• Create proof-of-concept intranet web pages using SharePoint to support internal communication and collaboration.

• Support the publication of IT communication reports through content curation and creative design.

Job Requirements

Education & Certification

• Undergraduate pursuing a Degree in Information Technology/Management, Business/Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics or equivalent

Experience

• No experience required as training will be provided

Other Prerequisites

• Proficient with Advance Microsoft Excel & other Microsoft Office programs (MS Team, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PPT etc..)

• Proficient with Python, SQL, data visualization tools & dashboarding technologies (i.e. Power BI / Tableau etc.)

• Foundation in Python scripting and Power App development.

• Strong verbal and written communication

• Able to commit to full-time work arrangement from Mondays to Fridays throughout the internship.
