Job summary

Lonza is seeking an IT Intern to join our Tuas site, gaining hands-on experience in a CDMO environment focused on digital transformation and regulatory compliance. You will work on IT documentation, troubleshooting, and project participation to support manufacturing processes.

The role offers exposure to systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing, collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Development Services, and learning opportunities in a highly regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Student in Polytechnic in Technology, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Strong interest in IT systems and infrastructure.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, regulated industry.
• Basic technical knowledge of networking, OS and cybersecurity is a definite plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, and assist with audit preparations.
• Assist with troubleshooting issues and supporting the infrastructure.
• Contribute to IT projects such as system upgrades, cybersecurity initiatives, and digitalization efforts.
• Learn and support systems used in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Work with departments such as Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Development Services to understand and support their IT needs.

Job description

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our IT team as an IT Intern at our Tuas site. This interships offers a unique opportunity to gain some experience in a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), supporting IT in digital transformation in a regulated environment.

This is a fully site‑based role at Singapore Tuas. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you'll do:
