Job summary

City Developments Limited (CDL) invites undergraduates or diploma students to join our corporate sustainability team as an intern in Singapore. You will contribute to data collation, analysis, strategic planning and training for internal and external stakeholders.

You will learn about ESG factors, data requirements, and carbon accounting to support disclosure and enhance CDL's sustainability rankings. Great teamwork and strong Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/university undergraduates from related field of studies with basic sustainability knowledge are welcome to apply.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work well in a team and be an effective team player.
• Skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Research & Reporting: support data collation, processing, reporting and analytics.
• Support gap analysis, data procurement/info/presentation slides.
• Research for Emerging Green Building / Global Sustainability Trends (e.g. ISSB, GRI).
• Internal Stakeholder Outreach: support data gathering and training programmes outreach with Business Units.
• Support international observances (World Water Day, Earth Hour, etc).
• External Stakeholder Outreach: assist with Supply Chain engagement and training (contractors).
• Administrative Support: provide administrative and operational support for CDL’s ISO/EHS management system.

Job Summary:

This internship will offer holistic exposure to working in corporate sustainability, especially with regards to data collation, analysis, strategic planning, internal and external stakeholder engagement and training.

The intern will learn about CDL’s Environmental, Social and Governance factors, data requirements and data gathering methodology leading to accurate Environment, Health and Safety reporting and Carbon accounting to support comprehensive disclosure towards maintaining the company’s global sustainability rankings and ratings.

Job Responsibilities:

Research & Reporting:

• Support The Green Building, Decarbonisation & Safety team in relevant research, data collation, processing, reporting, analytics and writing.
• Support team with any required gap analysis, data procurement/info/presentation slides.
• Research for Emerging Green Building / Global Sustainability Trends (i.e. ISSB, GRI etc. ).

Internal Stakeholder Outreach:

• Support team with data gathering and training programmes outreach with Business Units.
• Support team with international observances (i.e. World Water Day, EarthHour, etc).

External Stakeholder Outreach:

• Support team or Business Units with Supply Chain engagement and training (i.e. contractors).
