Job summary

Micron Singapore invites an Intern - F10 Process and Equipment Engineer to join the Process and Equipment Engineering team. You will work on the Workstation Defects Improvement Evaluation Project, studying dry etch process principles and evaluating synthetic quartz rings and conditioning approaches.

You will review process data to understand defect trends, develop qualification plans, and participate in discussions on process characterization, statistics, and experimental design with engineers.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in engineering (any discipline).
  • Fundamental engineering knowledge gained through coursework.
  • Ability to interpret technical data.
  • Strong learning agility and adaptability.
  • Willingness to engage in structured project work.

Responsibilities

  • Study dry etch process principles with emphasis on dielectric etching behaviour.
  • Evaluate synthetic quartz rings and conditioning approaches through structured engineering analysis.
  • Review process data to understand defect trends and sources of variation.
  • Develop qualification plans and timelines for material and process evaluations.
  • Participate in structured discussions with engineers to understand process characterisation strategies, statistical analysis, and experimental design concepts.
