SATS Ltd. is hiring an Intern, Data Analyst (Data & AI) in Singapore to support data and AI initiatives across the business. You will work with stakeholders to translate objectives into practical data solutions and help design dashboards that inform decisions.

The role offers exposure to modern BI tools, data engineering concepts, and Generative AI applications, with learning opportunities across SATS’ aviation and food solutions businesses in a global context.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, KPIs and analytical requirements, and translate them into effective data, BI and AI solutions.
• Support the end-to-end delivery of data, analytics and AI initiatives, encompassing requirements definition, solution design, development, implementation and continuous enhancement.
• Design, develop and maintain BI dashboards, reports and analytical products, primarily using Power BI or equivalent modern BI tools, to support enterprise reporting, operational analysis and decision-making.
• Analyse and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, patterns and actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making.
• Develop clear and intuitive data visualisation and storytelling to communicate complex information effectively to business stakeholders.
• Develop data processing, analytics, automation and AI-related components using SQL and Python.
• Explore and support the development of Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, including LLM-powered applications, intelligent workflows and AI-enabled analytics use cases.
• Drive continuous improvement of BI, analytics, data and AI development standards, platforms and processes.
• Keep abreast of emerging developments in analytics, cloud and AI technologies and identify opportunities to apply them to business and operational challenges.

Key Requirements

• Experience in modern BI tools, preferably Microsoft Power BI, with experience in dashboard development, data modelling, data transformation and data visualisation. Experience with Tableau or equivalent BI platforms is also relevant.
• Experience in python programming skills, with the ability to develop structured, maintainable and reliable solutions.
• Experience in SQL and working with relational and analytical databases.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
• Good knowledge of data engineering, including ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data modelling, APIs, data quality and data integration.
• Understanding of Generative AI and Agentic AI concepts, including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, tools and orchestration, would be advantageous.
