Job summary

MSD is seeking an Intern/Co-op in Singapore to support the distribution and logistics team with data collection, analysis, and reporting. You will build dashboards, automate monthly/forecast reports, and coordinate with internal and external providers to improve processes.

You will update/master data, assist with month-end accruals, and help publish insights in Power BI for management review, while contributing to continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Experience with data analysis and dashboard reporting.
• Interest in supply chain management and logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist distribution and logistics with data collection and analysis.
• Update material master data with shipping matrix for PP/Forecast.
• Support month-end accruals and improve reports using Python scripts.
• Build dashboards for volume and budget forecast vs actual.

The role involves assisting the distribution and logistics team with data collection and analysis. The position requires communication within the supply chain team and coordination with both internal and external providers.

• Update material master data with shipping matrix to facilitate PP/Forecast
• Support month-end accruals
• Enhance existing reports (FG PP vs Forecast vs Actual; Bulk PP vs Forecast; Bulk GR vs IR) using Python scripts for monthly reporting and forecast reporting in Excel reports. This includes on-going data cleansing on Freight Spend Report maintained manually by FBA Team
• To build dashboard for volume & budget forecast and actual comparison
• To publish these reports in PBI for management review
• To facilitate investigation on outliners
• To update user guide
