Job summary

Allianz Singapore is offering a 6-monthfull-time internship in Sales & Distribution for penultimate/final year students. You will support regional distribution projects, analyze market trends in Asia, and help transform the distribution channel with data-driven insights.

The role requires strong PowerPoint/Excel skills, proficiency with AI tools, and excellent communication. Hybrid work options are available, and you’ll gain exposure to international markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (Business Admin, Economics or Actuarial) preferred.
• Penultimate or final year bachelor students only.
• Legally eligible to work in Singapore for 6 months.

• Strong presentation and communication abilities.

Job Purpose

Are you keen on helping shape the future of Allianz in Asia, a key region of growth for the organization? Joinourregional agency/bancassurance distribution team in the Asian headquarters and experience first‑handtheinnerworkings and the strategic steering of the Life and Health insurance business units. You will collaboratewithvarious external & internal stakeholders and support the regional team in different projects, contributing tothetransformation of the distribution channel. This is your chance to gain insights and valuable practical experienceinthe financial services and insurance industry, more specifically in the areas of corporate strategy anddistribution,all while working in an international environment with exposure to various markets in Asia.

What You Do

• Support analysis regarding distribution management activities via management dashboards and reports intheareas of distribution and corporate strategy (e.g. financial KPIs, growth metrics, competitor analysis etc.)
• Analyze current trends, key players, and market developments across Asia
• Review of company financials, growth drivers, economic factors changing the insurance landscape in Asia
• Provide data analysis and interpretation of relevant agency, bancassurance, customer & market data
• Contribute to and support the regional growth strategy to transform the distribution channel
• Project management on ad-hoc strategic initiatives in relation to development & execution ofdistributionecosystem strategies
• Manage internal and external stakeholders across the region
• Support the creation of convincing market development pitches Through activities mentioned above, theinternwill be able to gain exposure, understand business steering activities and development of distributionstrategies ofan international insurer and obtain hand-on experience by participating in real-life tasks andassisting teammembers

What You Bring

• Excellent command of PowerPoint and Excel, AI tools e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft CoPilot
• Programming and data analytic skills are a plus
