Job summary

Sembcorp invites an Intern, Centralised Maintenance (Planning) in Singapore, West. You will join the Centralised Maintenance Planning Team supporting daily maintenance planning for multiple plants on Jurong Island.

You'll assist in scheduling, develop hands-on condition monitoring skills, and help engineers prepare maintenance documentation, including spares, PM strategies, and SAP-related tasks. This is an on-site role offering exposure to SAP S4Hana PM/MM modules.

Qualifications

• Background in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and scheduling of daily maintenance work orders.
• Develop hands-on skills on performing condition monitoring assessment of rotating equipment and control valves and provide reports.
• To assist the engineers to prepare maintenance documents for the maintenance management of the new power plant, including 1. Spares list and philosophy 2. Preventive Maintenance Strategies
• Familiarise with SAP processes and assist the planners in collecting information for: 1. Management of maintenance work 2. Management of budget 3. Spares management
• Develop MTBF report for utilities plants and checking sanity of data within the SAP S4Hana system
• Check and develop Equipment BOMs within S4Hana and aid in the integration into the unified maintenance platform, Hyperspace
• Aid maintenance planners in the spares synergy exercise by identifying related equipment and their spares across the various utilities plants
• Familiarise with SAP S4Hana PM and MM Modules and create instruction manuals for common SAP S4Hana tasks
• Review P&IDs and tally against the functional location list within SAP and patch any gaps

KeyRoles and Responsibilities

This role willjoin the Centralised Maintenance Planning Team, which is in-charge of themaintenance planning of the Sembcorp utilities plants in Singapore. The plantsinclude:

• 4 units of Gas-fired CombinedCycle Power Plants
• 5 Wastewater Treatment Plants
• 2 Battery Energy StorageSystem
• 2 Multi Utilities Facilities

The jobdescription of the intern will be to:
