Job summary

YTL PowerSeraya Pte. Limited invites applications for an internship to develop engaging training videos and interactive learning modules.

You will collaborate with the Technical Learning Team to translate complex technical topics into clear learning materials and gain hands-on experience in video production, scripting, editing, and content design. You will assist with planning, filming at Pulau Seraya Power Station and related locations, and support in Articulate 360 course creation and project

About This Internship

Work with the Technical Learning Team to create engaging training videos and interactive content that support employee training and knowledge transfer. Gain exposure to video production and editing, visual communication, workplace learning practices, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination in the Power Generation industry.

Responsibilities

• Content Planning & Development
  • Work with Power Generation experts to understand operational procedures and learning needs.
  • Assist with planning, scripting and storyboarding training content.
  • Simplify complex technical topics into clear and engaging learning materials.
• Video & Multimedia Production
  • Support filming activities at Pulau Seraya Power Station, Taser Power, and other company locations.
  • Assist in creation of supporting content such as graphics, images, and visual aids.
  • Organise and maintain multimedia files.
• General Project Support
  • Assist in designing Articulate 360 courses with interactive elements.
  • Support project coordination, documentation, and administrative tasks as needed.

Internship Outcomes

During the internship, you may contribute to the development of:

• Training videos covering Power Generation facilities, operational procedures, safety practices, and technical concepts.
• Interactive learning modules hosted on the company’s Learning Management System (LMS).
• Multimedia assets that enhance employee learning experiences.

Qualification

Minimum Requirements

• Interest in content creation, visual storytelling, learning design, or digital media.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisation skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn new tools, skills, and technologies.
• Openness to feedback and improvement.
• Strong time management.

Good to Have

• Experience creating videos, social media content, presentations, multimedia projects, or digital content. (Professional portfolio not required.)
• Familiarity with video editing tools (e.g., CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Canva Video, or similar).
• Basic graphic design or presentation design skills.
• Exposure to Articulate 360, e-learning tools, or instructional design concepts.
• Motion graphics or interactive content experience.

Base / Location: PSPS (Pulau Seraya Power Station), 3 Seraya Avenue, Jurong Island, Singapore 628209

Contract Type: Internship (Minimum 12 weeks; up to 24 weeks)

Working Hours: Office hours (Mon–Fri); occasional filming/voiceover outside core hours with prior notice

Reports To: Technical Learning Manager

Safety & Security (Jurong Island)

• Jurong Island is a Protected Area; persons/vehicles require valid passes for entry. Clearance must be maintained throughout the internship.
• Attendance at Safety Induction Course (SIC) and compliance with station WSH rules are mandatory for on‑site work/visits.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in designated plant areas (e.g., safety helmet, hearing protection).
