Job summary

AIA SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Integral Life Product Development Consultant to lead the design and delivery of product solutions on the Integral Life and AS400 platforms. You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to turn requirements into high-quality, practical solutions that strengthen customer and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, CS, Business, Insurance, Actuarial Science, or related discipline.
• At least 6 years of hands-on Integral Life experience.
• Strong knowledge of life insurance products and product configuration.
• Experience in Integral Life product setup and development.
• Good understanding of SMART/400 methodology and the development lifecycle.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of AS400, COBOL, CL, and SQL development.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of new initiatives and product enhancements on Integral Life and AS400 platforms.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements, evaluate options, and recommend effective solutions within SLA.
• Own solution design and provide technical leadership across the development lifecycle.
• Perform hands-on analysis, product setup, programming, testing, implementation, and production support when required.
• Identify technical risks, system pain points, delivery issues, and take timely action to address them.
• Ensure solutions comply with SMART/400 design standards, architecture principles, security requirements, and technology governance.
• Deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines and budgets.
• Effectively monitor and provide clear progress updates to line manager and key stakeholders.
• Coach junior team members and promote knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to broader technology priorities, including security, compliance, resilience, and platform sustainability.
