Wood is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Designer in Singapore for a major greenfield chemical plant project. You will join a dedicated project team, developing instrument layouts, cable routing, and 3D models, while coordinating with engineers to ensure safe, cost-effective design solutions.

The role requires mastery of I&C design principles, exposure to SP3D or AVEVA suites, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifikationen

• An excellent understanding of instrumentation and control systems design principles, industry standards and drafting practices.
• Experience in producing instrumentation and control design deliverables including layouts and schedules.
• Proficiency with 2D/3D design tools and software used in multidisciplinary projects.

Aufgaben

• Prepare instrumentation and control design deliverables (instrument layouts, cable routing, hook-up drawings, installation details).
• Develop and maintain 3D instrumentation models and participate in model reviews.
• Support multidisciplinary design activities and participate in design reviews and workshops.
• Coordinate with engineers and designers to deliver accurate design documentation on schedule.
