Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior Instrument & Control Engineer to join our Singapore team on a 24-month fixed-term contract. You will provide technical leadership across instrumentation, process control, automation, and safety systems for a world-scale chemical plant project, working with multidisciplinary teams.

Based in Singapore, you will contribute to FEED through commissioning, ensuring safety, reliability, and best practices in DCS/SIS/PLC environments while collaborating with a diverse

Qualifications

Degree-qualified in instrumentation, electrical & electronic, or control systems engineering.
Significant experience delivering instrumentation and control engineering in chemical/petrochemical/industrial environments.
Strong knowledge of DCS, SIS, PLC, and plant-wide automation systems.

Responsibilities

Deliver instrumentation and control system engineering across concept to commissioning.
Prepare technical deliverables including instrument indexes, datasheets, I/O lists, control philosophies and alarm management.
Develop field instrumentation and control valve specifications for chemical processes.
Support FAT/SAT, loop checks, commissioning and start-up activities; mentor junior engineers.
