Sembcorp Utilities Services Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is recruiting a maintenance engineer for instrumentation and control systems.

You will plan and execute maintenance within schedules, inspect equipment, and report conditions to the Team Lead. The role involves troubleshooting DCS/PLC and supporting commissioning with thorough documentation. Qualified candidates hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or Control & Instrumentation, with at least 3 years in a process plant environment, and

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Control and Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a process plant environment (Utilities, Oil & Gas, Chemicals).
Experience with instrumentation, controls, gas metering and EMA Gas Supply Code is preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute maintenance activities for instrumentation and control systems within approved schedules and standards.
Inspect equipment, report conditions, and update work status to Team Lead and stakeholders.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in DCS, PLC, field instrumentation, and related components.
Calibrate, perform loop checks, and support commissioning with proper documentation in CMMS/EAM.
Conduct risk assessments and obtain permits to work as required.
Coordinate and supervise contractors, liaise with operations and engineering teams to minimize disruption.
