Job summary
Sembcorp invites applications for an instrumentation and control maintenance role at our Singapore facilities. You will plan and execute scheduled and preventive maintenance for DCS/PLC, perform diagnostics, calibration, and commissioning support.
You will work with operations, engineering and contractors, maintain safety and regulatory standards, and contribute to reliability improvements and metering compliance.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Control and Instrumentation Engineering.
- 3 years of experience in a process plant environment (Utilities, Oil & Gas, Chemicals).
- Experience with instrumentations and controls, gas & utilities metering.
- Experience with condition monitoring and diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute maintenance activities for instrumentation and control systems.
- Inspect plant instrumentation and report status to the Team Lead.
- Troubleshoot and repair faults in DCS, PLC, and related components.
- Calibrate, perform loop checks, and support commissioning activities.
- Develop risk assessments and obtain Permit to Work as needed.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors and liaise with operations and engineering teams.
- Prepare daily maintenance updates on completed work and defects.
- Support metering compliance with EMA Gas Supply Code and related standards.
- Contribute to maintenance strategy, reliability, and cybersecurity improvements.
