Installer (Semiconductor Projects)

Position Summary

Kun Lun Global Pte Ltd is seeking reliable and hardworking Installers to join our project installation team for semiconductor cleanrooms and other high-tech industrial projects.

Installers form the core of our site workforce and are responsible for carrying out the actual installation of equipment foundations and related components under the direction of the Site Supervisor.

This is an entry-level, hands-on position suitable for candidates who are willing to learn, work as part of a team and develop practical installation skills. Previous installation or semiconductor experience is not required, as training and on-the-job guidance will be provided.

The successful candidate must be safety-conscious, physically fit and willing to work in construction and cleanroom environments.

Key Responsibilities

Installation Works

• Carry out equipment foundation and related installation works under the direction of the Site Supervisor.
• Assist with the positioning, assembly, alignment and levelling of equipment foundations and components.
• Perform drilling, fastening, bolting, assembly and other mechanical installation activities.
• Use hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment safely and correctly.
• Assist with movement and positioning of installation materials, tools and equipment.
• Follow engineering drawings, markings and installation instructions provided by the Site Supervisor.
• Carry out installation works according to approved methods and quality requirements.
• Assist experienced installers and supervisors with more specialised installation activities.
• Check tools and materials before commencement of work.
• Maintain proper care of company tools, equipment and materials.
• Complete assigned work within the required schedule.

Safety & Cleanroom Compliance

• Comply with all applicable Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) requirements.
• Follow instructions given during daily Toolbox Meetings (TBM) and safety briefings.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Follow Permit-to-Work requirements and site safety procedures.
• Comply with cleanroom gowning and contamination-control requirements.
• Use tools and equipment only for their intended purposes and according to safety requirements.
• Do not operate equipment or perform activities without proper instruction or authorisation.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, damaged tools or potential hazards to the Site Supervisor.
• Stop work and seek clarification whenever instructions or site conditions are unclear or unsafe.
• Maintain good housekeeping and keep work areas clean and organised.

Teamwork & Work Discipline

• Follow instructions from the Site Supervisor and project management team.
• Work closely with other installers to complete assigned activities safely and efficiently.
• Report installation difficulties, obstructions or unexpected site conditions to the Site Supervisor.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
• Follow company and client site rules at all times.
• Maintain professional behaviour when working at client premises.
• Cooperate with other workers, contractors and project personnel.
• Take responsibility for assigned tasks and complete them to the required standard.

Quality & Workmanship

• Carry out installation work carefully and according to instructions.
• Ensure components are installed correctly and securely.
• Assist with checking dimensions, alignment and levelling where required.
• Avoid damage to client facilities, equipment, cleanroom flooring and surrounding work areas.
• Immediately report mistakes, damage or installation defects to the Site Supervisor.
