UWCSEA Dover is seeking a qualified and experienced part time Teacher of Primary School Chinese from August 2027. The appointee must be experienced in teaching Chinese to this age group (4-11 years old).

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching Chinese language and literature to primary ages (4–11).
• Ability to contribute to a collaborative Chinese Language team and broader Primary School teams.
• Commitment to concept-based teaching and learning and to safeguarding standards.

Responsibilities

• Contribute positively to the collaborative culture of the Chinese Language team and broader Primary School teams.
• Construct learning experiences that challenge students and support diverse learners.
• Ensure assessments inform ongoing learning with timely feedback on formative and summative assessments.
• Demonstrate effective classroom management addressing academic, social, and emotional learning.
• Communicate with parents about their children’s learning and maintain proactive updates.
