Job summary

MindChamps Preschool @ Sengkang PTE. LTD. is seeking an early childhood educator to plan, supervise, and deliver the programme in line with the school’s philosophy.

You will prepare engaging learning activities, track each child’s progress, and prepare semester reports to build a developmental portfolio for every child. You will maintain strong parent communication, conduct conferences, and use positive discipline.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education–Teaching (DECCE-T).
• Fluent in English.
• Creative and inspiring with loving energy.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Knowledge in educational development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and deliver the programme in accordance with MindChamps policies and philosophy.
• Prepare and implement programmes and age-appropriate teaching aids.
• Keep accurate records of children’s progress and address developmental needs individually.
• Complete progress reports and prepare developmental portfolios for each child.
• Communicate with parents weekly via the Connection Book and newsletters.
• Meet parents to address concerns and provide feedback.
• Use positive discipline techniques at all times.
• Guide and supervise the Assistant Teacher in the classroom.
• Render basic first aid as necessary.
• Maintain teaching resources, classroom appearance, and learning environment.
• Familiarise with curriculum documents, handbooks and policy manuals.
