Job summary

MindChamps Preschool @ Holland V PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated preschool teacher to plan, supervise and deliver the program in line with MindChamps philosophies. You will prepare age-appropriate teaching aids and keep detailed progress records for each child.

You will also communicate with parents on a weekly basis, compile progress reports, and prepare developmental portfolios. This role requires mentoring the Assistant Teacher and applying positive discipline at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education is mandatory.
• Experience with preschool-age children is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and deliver the preschool program in line with MindChamps policies.
• Prepare and implement age-appropriate teaching aids.
• Keep accurate records of children’s progress and address individual needs.
• Complete progress reports and develop developmental portfolios for each child.
• Communicate with parents weekly and at conferences.
• Meet parents to discuss concerns and celebrate progress.
• Use positive discipline techniques at all times.
• Guide and supervise the Assistant Teacher in the classroom.
• Render basic first aid when needed.
• Maintain and enhance teaching resources, classroom appearance and learning environment.
• Familiar with curriculum documents, handbooks and policy manuals.
