Job summary

EtonHouse International Education Group in Singapore is seeking an experienced Class Teacher to deliver high-quality early childhood education. You will plan, teach, and assess with a focus on inquiry-based learning while collaborating with the Principal and staff to support pupil development and family engagement.

The role requires a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood or Education, plus relevant teaching qualifications.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant professional teaching experience in early childhood.
• Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood or Education or equivalent from a recognised university or college.
• Teacher Certificates, Diplomas or other Teacher Accreditation courses required if degree is not in Education.
• IB PYP course and training are highly valued.
• Knowledge of or willingness to acquire knowledge of inquiry-based learning is required.
• Applicants must provide original copies of their Certificates and transcripts for authentication.
• International experience, especially in Asia, is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Respect and value each child’s social, cultural and religious background and model mutual respect and tolerance.
• Share in management of pastoral care, health, welfare and behaviour of all pupils within the class.
• Undertake teaching of a class in line with school policies and guidelines.
• Use diverse teaching and caring methods to ensure high quality learning.
• Provide planning documents with learning objectives, differentiated tasks, assessments, and moderation for the Principal or authorized officer.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure equal opportunities for all.
• Maintain a tidy, well-organised classroom and manage resources.
