• Collaborate with the class group of teachers and be accountable to the Core Teacher for all matters regarding the class.
• Present as a professional and committed staff member.
• Assist in establishing an effective and responsive classroom environment where children are active participants.
• Observe children in play to assist in planning, implementation and evaluation of the child-centred curriculum for both indoor and outdoor learning environments.
• Responsible for small group learning experiences.
• Support and maintain positive classroom relationships where all members of the class are respected and valued.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in ongoing professional development.
