Job summary

TianYun Education Group LLP invites applications for a Part-Time / Freelance Math Teacher & Curriculum Developer at our Marine Parade centre in Singapore. The role combines on-site teaching with Mathematics curriculum development to enhance lessons and resources.

You'll deliver Primary 1–6 Math lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus, assess student progress, and craft structured materials, worksheets and assessments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Science or related discipline.
• Strong foundation in Primary Mathematics.
• Good knowledge of the Singapore MOE Primary Mathematics syllabus.
• Prior experience teaching Primary 1-6 Mathematics preferred.
• Experience in curriculum development or educational content development advantageous.
• IB PYP / inquiry-based Mathematics experience a plus.
• Able to explain concepts clearly with step-by-step solutions.
• Strong mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Able to create structured, age-appropriate learning materials.
• Must be able to travel to Marine Parade centre for teaching assignments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site Mathematics lessons for Primary 1 to Primary 6 students.
• Deliver lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE Primary Mathematics syllabus.
• Build students' understanding, reasoning, problem-solving and confidence.
• Guide students through multiple question types and adapt to needs.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to parents as needed.
• Develop and enhance Mathematics curriculum materials, lesson plans and assessments.
• Prepare answer keys, slides and teacher notes for curriculum materials.
• Review and improve existing curriculum materials for accuracy and age-appropriateness.
