Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of cloning, protein expression, and purification techniques.
• Hands-on experience with PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA sequencing, and bacterial transformation systems preferred.
• Familiarity with synthetic biology tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design and construct biosynthetic pathways in microbial chassis.
• Perform gene cloning and genome editing.
• Express and characterize enzymes.
• Conduct molecular biology experiments (DNA manipulation, PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA sequencing).
• Maintain and manage microbial cell cultures.
• Perform bacterial transformations.
• Troubleshoot protocols and optimize procedures.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data.
