Job summary

Epergne Solutions seeks an Augmentation consultant/Innovation Platform Engineer to lead the Innovation Sandbox Strategy and Operations. You will oversee governance, onboarding, and chargeback processes while enabling self-service capabilities across cloud environments.

Applicants should have 5–6 years of IT systems development and a strong background in cloud platforms, DevOps, and cybersecurity, with the ability to support rapid experimentation and compliant delivery in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Google) or IT service management are an advantage.
• Experience administering cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Experience in software development with APIs, system integration, and testing.
• Familiarity with virtualization, containers, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of identity and access management, cybersecurity principles, and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, establish, and operate innovation sandbox environments for rapid experimentation and validation of emerging technologies.
• Develop sandbox governance models, onboarding frameworks, operating procedures, and evaluation mechanisms.
• Manage sandbox operations, onboarding, access controls, compliance, performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Monitor sandbox utilization, address anomalies, optimize resource consumption, and engage project teams.
• Enhance sandbox capabilities based on user feedback and innovation needs.
• Ensure platforms comply with cybersecurity, governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and validate sandbox resource consumption and billing records, ensure accurate chargeback.
• Support administrative, operational, reporting, and governance activities for sandbox platforms and programmes.
• Build reusable innovation frameworks, playbooks, and reference architectures.

Position Summary / Project Description

This position is responsible for Innovation Sandbox Strategy & Operations and Innovation Enablement & Capability Building to support rapid experimentation, prototyping, and validation of emerging technologies. The role oversees the governance, operation, and continuous improvement of sandbox environments, while developing and managing technology enablers, self-service capabilities, and shared services that accelerate innovation.

Role and Responsibilities

A. Innovation Sandbox Strategy & Operations

• Design, establish, and operate innovation sandbox environments that support rapid experimentation and validation of emerging technologies.
• Develop sandbox governance models, onboarding frameworks, operating procedures, and evaluation mechanisms.
• Manage sandbox operations, user onboarding, access controls, compliance, performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and track sandbox utilisation and proactively engage project teams investigate anomalies, optimise resource consumption, and address operational issues.
• Continuously enhance sandbox capabilities based on user feedback and innovation needs.
• Ensure platforms comply with cybersecurity, governance, privacy, and healthcare regulatory requirements
• Review and validate sandbox resource consumption and billing records, investigate discrepancies, and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate chargeback.
• Support administrative, operational, reporting, and governance activities required for the effective management of innovation sandbox platforms and programmes.

B. Innovation Enablement & Capability Building

• Build reusable innovation frameworks, playbooks, best practices, and reference architectures to support scalable and repeatable innovation.
• Develop new enablers, self-service platforms, development toolkits, APIs, cloud environments, and shared services that accelerate experimentation and solution development.
• Provide technical advisory and enablement support to help innovators navigate platform capabilities, governance requirements, and adoption pathways.

Requirements / Qualifications
