Job summary

Vantive in Singapore is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician to keep injection molds in top condition and support efficient production. You will read blueprints, perform mold changes, set up machines, and follow safety and quality procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least one year of mold maintenance experience and a diploma or NITEC in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering, with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• NITEC or diploma in Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least one year of mold maintenance/repair experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and using measuring equipment.
• Attention to detail with strong prioritization and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-change environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain molds per production schedules.
• Ensure molding machines and auxiliary equipment are set to correct parameters.
• Repair and replace worn/broken mold parts.
• Open/close, clean and lubricate molds.
• Changeover molds for new production cycles.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Inspect incoming mold spares.
• Use crane hoist for mold changes.
• Understand injection molding process and support optimization.
• Respond to persistent process or quality issues.
• Evaluate and optimize mold performance.
• Follow cleanup, housekeeping, safety and cGMP compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
