Job summary

POSITRONIC ASIA PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Moulder in Singapore to set up and operate injection molding machines. The role includes mold changes, parameter setup, and first article inspection to ensure quality.

Responsibilities cover troubleshooting defects, optimizing cycle times, coordinating with QC and maintenance, and keeping 5S standards. The candidate should have 3–5 years’ experience, be able to read drawings, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in injection molding.
• Knowledge of plastics materials (e.g., LCP, PC, PP, PA, Ultem).
• Able to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments.
• Willing to work shifts/overtime.
• Physically fit and able to work in hot environments.
• Good written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up molds, machine parameters, and auxiliary equipment per setup sheet.
• Perform mold, color, and material changes.
• Start up machines and conduct first article inspection for quality.
• Troubleshoot molding defects (short shot, flash, sink mark, warpage).
• Optimize cycle time and process parameters for efficiency.
• Monitor production and minimize downtime on machines.
