Job summary

SXC is seeking an Inhouse Security Executive to manage daily hotel and mall security operations in Singapore. Reporting to the Building & Security Manager, you will supervise supervisors and subordinates, ensuring procedures are followed and standards met across the premises.

The role requires a Diploma in Security with relevant supervisory experience and 4 Advanced Cert modules, strong communication skills, and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Diploma in security with at least 3 years as Security Supervisor and completion of 4 Adv. Cert level modules
• Excellent oral and written communication and public relations skills
• Ability to perform shift work and to work on weekends/public holidays

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel/shopping complex security operations to meet standards
• Supervise Supervisors and subordinates; monitor performance
• Ensure security, car park, visitor management and contingency plans are in place
• Direct on-site field officers with spot checks to ensure duties are performed correctly
• Handle other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Title Inhouse SECURITY EXECUTIVE for Hotel / Mall

Job Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Building & Security Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the hotel to keep up the required standards, daily supervision on the overall work performance of the Supervisors and other subordinates in their respective places of work designation.
• Perform duties in accordance with the day-to-day operations assigned by the Building & Security Manager within the building premises, i.e. hotel, shopping complex.
• To make sure that general security, car park, visitor management and emergency contingency plans and procedures are in order.
• Direct supervision of field officers and spot checks to ensure that they remain alert and discharge their duties correctly and in accordance with their job descriptions, procedures and instructions.
• Any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Requirements

• Diploma with three years of relevant working experience as Security Supervisor plus 4 Adv. Cert level modules (mandatory modules).
• Good oral and written communications and public relations skills preferred.
• Able to perform shift duties and work on weekends / Public Holidays.
