Job summary

Singapore Public Service seeks an experienced Civil Engineer to partner with inter-agency teams on underground and infrastructure projects in Singapore. You will lead planning, tendering, and multi-disciplinary coordination to deliver safe, cost-efficient results.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background with at least 5 years of relevant infrastructure experience, strong analytical and leadership capabilities, and familiarity with design and analysis software.

Qualifications

• Background in Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in infrastructure projects (roads, drains, sewers).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with excellent time management.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage more than one project at a time.
• Familiar with design and analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Perform infrastructure planning and assessment of ground conditions.
• Prepare project briefs and lead in tender preparation to select and appoint project consultants and contractors.
• Review and monitor safety, construction methods and ascertain compliances.
• Identify potential design and construction related issues, contractual disputes and effect appropriate or alternative solutions.
• Manage and liaise with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that projects are delivered in a safe, cost-effective and efficient manner.
