Job summary

Ley Choon Group Holdings Limited seeks an Assistant Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of infrastructure and utility projects in Singapore. You will work with project managers, clients, government agencies, and site teams to ensure safe, efficient, and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes organization, resourcefulness, and a drive to grow in project management and engineering within a dynamic environment, with a 6-day work week and Singapore office location.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Relevant experience in project coordination, engineering, or construction is preferred.
• Knowledge of local authority submissions and permit processes is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of SP Group procedures, utility coordination, and regulatory compliance in Singapore.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
• Team player with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Holding a valid Class 2 or Class 3 driving licence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand project scope, timelines, budgets, and objectives.
• Coordinate with clients to identify requirements, scope, and deliverables.
• Schedule and document meetings with stakeholders and project teams.
• Obtain permits and approvals from authorities such as LTA, NParks, and MPA.
• Coordinate with TPOM Officers for site operations.
• Track permit validity and renewals.
• Support project managers in planning, execution, and reporting.
• Participate in design and coordination meetings to suggest improvements.
• Monitor progress and resource utilization to keep projects on budget.
• Prepare project documentation and act as contact for communications.
