Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED seeks an experienced network professional to design, implement and manage complex enterprise networks. You will handle Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls, time servers and routing in large WAN-LAN environments.

Applicants should hold relevant degrees and certifications and demonstrate strong troubleshooting, customer handling and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technology field.
• Professional networking certs such as CCNA/CCNP/CISSP/CCIE or similar.
• Proven firewall management experience (Cisco/Fortinet/Palo Alto/Check Point).
• Strong knowledge of L2-L3 switching and MPLS, OSPF and BGP.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, VLANs and SDN protocols.
• Experience with network analysis tools like Wireshark.
• Strong design, implementation and architecture planning skills.
• Analytical and troubleshooting abilities at fault isolation.
• Good customer handling and stakeholder management.
• Ability to escalate and define network solutions with the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
• Professional qualifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE), CCIE (Routing & Switching), CCIE (Data Centre) or other relevant and higher network and security certifications
• Proven experience in managing Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls, design, configuration and managing NTP time servers
• Good working knowledge of L2-L3 switching and MPLS, OSPF and BGP routing over geographical large-scale WAN-LAN mobile networks
• Good working knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and standards, including TCP/IP, BGP,OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, and SDN
• Good working knowledge of network tools e.g. network analyser, Wireshark, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of Software Delivered Data Centres in general and Software Delivered Networks
• Should have acumen for emerging technologies in the networking world
• Extensive experience in network design, implementation, and architecture planning in large-scale enterprise environments
• Possess good analytical and troubleshooting skills in technical fault isolation and rectification
• Excellent analytical skills and problem solver mentality
• Creative thinking in designing and implementing service improvements
• Deep experience in customer handling and stakeholder management
• Ability to handle escalations, be a trusted advisor for the team and work closely with the team in defining solutions
