Job summary

TESCOM (SINGAPORE) SOFTWARE SYSTEMS TESTING PTE LTD. is looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Consultant to provide technical guidance and solutions, ensuring project delivery aligns with quality and security standards. Candidates should have substantial experience managing large-scale IT infrastructure, along with a degree in a related field.

Responsibilities include designing solutions, managing a team, and coordinating with various stakeholders. Certifications in Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, or Cloud technologies are advantageous. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide IT infrastructure consultancy, technical guidance, expertise, and solutions
• Design technical solutions independently for requirements of enterprise customers and tender/RFP.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert in one or more areas related to infrastructure and able to provide in dept analysis, escalation support, and insights into infrastructure operations and issue.
• Ensure that the IT infrastructure projects are delivered and maintained within schedule, in accordance to the quality and security standards.
• Team Management responsible includes pre-activities arrangement, activities planning, and coordinating team activities, across various internal/external stakeholders
• Managed a team of at least two to three people, with responsibility for things like performance reviews, mentoring, career plans, etc.
• Performing cross-functional coordination with business and technical teams to provide effective solutions with highest quality

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in computer science, networking administration, information technology, or a similar field with at least 8 years of experience managing large scale IT infrastructure
• Sound understanding of IT Infrastructure and Security operations, processes, and services
• Microsoft certification, VMware certification, Cisco certification, Cloud certification or any related certification is an advantage.
• Good written and communication skills
• Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Optional Skills

• Familiar with Gov standard of security posture including planning and running Security Compliance Check, Security Vulnerability Scanning
• Familiar with IM8 policies
