Job summary

NextEra Software Services Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (8+ years) to manage Linux, Oracle Linux, VMware, Huawei FusionCompute, and AIX/Power environments, with focus on stability, migration projects, and DR readiness.

You will administer RHEL/Oracle Linux, design VMware/vSAN, configure FusionCompute clusters, and lead data center migrations while ensuring high availability and robust disaster recovery across Singapore data centers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience with Linux, Oracle Linux, VMware and Huawei FusionCompute.
• Data center migrations and disaster recovery planning.

Responsibilities

• Administer and upgrade RHEL/Oracle Linux servers, applying kernel patches and troubleshooting to maintain system stability and performance
• Manage Linux storage technologies including RAID, LVM, VxVM/VXFS, and cluster file systems such as Red Hat Cluster and Oracle RAC/ASM for high availability
• Design, implement, and administer VMware ESXi, vSphere, vCenter, and vSAN environments, including HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage vMotion, patching, upgrades, and disaster recovery
• Configure and maintain Huawei FusionCompute infrastructure, including cluster setup, HA, DRS, Live Migration, DVS, FC storage, resource pools, capacity planning, and VMware-to-FusionCompute migrations
• Operate and upgrade AIX and Power Systems infrastructure, including VIO Server, LPAR, HACMP, GPFS, NIM, LPM, LVM, MPIO, NPIV, SEA/NIB, and perform data center migrations
• Manage storage and SAN infrastructure with Huawei OceanDisk, including RAID, LUN management, zoning, snapshots, capacity planning, performance monitoring, and SmartTier SSD/HDD environments
• Automate infrastructure management using Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Spacewalk/SUMA for package management, server patching, firmware upgrades, configuration management, and performance tuning
• Lead data center migrations, P2P/P2X migrations, Solaris-to-X migrations, AIX/Power migrations, Lift & Shift projects, OAT testing, and conduct Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity exercises
• Provide L2/L3 infrastructure support by troubleshooting OS, hardware, network, and storage issues, managing filesystems, user administration, NFS/DNS/autofs, backup and recovery, and incident resolution in production and DR environments

Infrastructure Engineer with 8+ years of experience to manage and optimize Linux, Oracle Private Cloud, VMware, Huawei FusionCompute, AIX/Power infrastructure, storage, automation, and migration projects. The role supports data center operations and disaster recovery from Singapore.

Responsibilities
