Job summary

Singtel invites applications for a Support Engineer to help maintain and operate our infrastructure and platform services across customer projects in line with service levels. You will deploy, manage, and operate cloud environments (public/private/hybrid), implement automation, monitor performance, and respond to incidents while ensuring security and disaster recovery readiness.

Applicants should have a Diploma or bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and 1–2 years of hands-on infrastructure

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT infrastructure operations experience.
• Experience with monitoring, performance management and capacity planning.
• Experience with virtualization and private/public cloud technologies.
• Strong incident management and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to document configurations and provide operational reports.

Responsibilities

• Identify infrastructure and platform operational best practices.
• Deploy, manage, and operate cloud environments (Public/Private/Hybrid).
• Implement automation to streamline provisioning, de-provisioning, and system management processes.
• Proactively monitor infrastructure performance and reliability; take corrective actions.
• Manage infrastructure changes through formal change control and provide status updates.
• Document configurations and provide regular operational reports.
• Respond to incidents with timely resolutions and updates.
• Support backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Adhere to security standards and support audits; provide corrective actions.
• Provide 24x7 standby support as required.
