Job summary

MAESTRO HUMAN RESOURCE PTE. LTD. invites applications for an IT infrastructure and network engineer to design, implement, configure and maintain Huawei-based systems.

You will install, integrate and commission Huawei equipment, monitor performance and ensure availability, reliability and security across networks. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Degree in IT or related fields, HCIA/HCIP/HCIE certification, 2–5 years of experience, strong TCP/IP knowledge, and hands-on Huawei gear experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Networking or a related field.
• Huawei HCIA, HCIP or HCIE certification in a relevant infrastructure/networking track (required).
• 2–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering or related environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure and maintain Huawei-based IT infrastructure and network systems.
• Install, configure, integrate and commission Huawei network and infrastructure equipment.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, identify issues and troubleshoot to ensure availability and reliability.
• Support network infrastructure including routing, switching, firewalls, wireless and related ICT systems.
• Conduct system health checks, preventive maintenance and performance optimisation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network connectivity issues and provide timely resolution.
• Support infrastructure migration, upgrade and expansion projects.
• Prepare technical documentation, configuration records, reports and project handover documents.
• Work closely with project teams, vendors and customers to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Ensure infrastructure deployment complies with technical requirements, security standards and project specifications.

About you

• Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA), Huawei Certified ICT Professional (HCIP) or Huawei Certified ICT Expert (HCIE) certification in a relevant infrastructure/networking track (either one is a must)
• 2-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering or related technical environments
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, switching and network troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with Huawei network and infrastructure equipment is preferred
• Experience in infrastructure deployment, configuration, testing and maintenance
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with project and technical teams
• Good communication and technical documentation skills
• Willing to support project deployment, maintenance or on-site activities when required
