Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED is seeking an experienced database administrator to support and maintain critical data systems in a fast-paced environment. You will manage SQL and Oracle databases, tune performance, and safeguard data through reliable backup and recovery processes.

You will monitor data integrity, collaborate with data analysts and other teams, and help design dashboards for senior management. The role emphasizes reliability, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement to keep our databases

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Support database management system and related software.
Perform Microsoft SQL/Oracle server maintenance.
Monitor and manage database performance and troubleshoot when needed
Perform periodic database indexing performance improvements.
Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN.
Monitor data archiving processes and system configuration to ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with clients, data analysts and other relevant teams to ensure database reliability and troubleshooting.
Conduct an audit process on hygiene report data to ensure the data is kept up to date.
Facilitate personalized data retrieval processes for various company needs.
Reviewing the data processing cycle and providing development recommendations.
Provides a data dashboard that top-level managers can use for reporting.
Work closely with related teams to identify and report bugs in the database management system.
