Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a multi-year IT roadmap.
  • Manage annual IT budget, procurement, licensing, vendor negotiations.
  • Formulate and enforce IT governance, SOPs, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Oversee core infrastructure including cloud networks (AWS/Azure/GCP) and SaaS portfolios.
  • Ensure uptime, performance, and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Lead enterprise risk management and security initiatives.
  • Recruit and mentor IT teams; bridge IT with business units.
  • Communicate effectively with executives and stakeholders.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Governance
  • Develop and execute a multi-year IT roadmap supporting organizational growth, scalability, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage the annual IT budget, hardware/software procurement, vendor negotiations, and licensing compliance.
  • Formulate and enforce IT governance policies, regulatory compliance standard operating procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
Infrastructure, Operations & Cloud Systems
  • Oversee core infrastructure including enterprise cloud networks (AWS/Azure/GCP), local networks, communications platforms, and SaaS portfolios.
  • Ensure maximum uptime, performance reliability, and disaster recovery readiness across all business applications.
  • Standardize service desk processes to optimize user support, issue resolution, and system provisioning.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management
  • Lead enterprise risk management, zero-trust initiatives, threat monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and security awareness training.
  • Drive compliance with relevant industry frameworks and regulations.
  • Maintain comprehensive incident response protocols and lead rapid remediation in the event of security breaches.
Team Leadership & Talent Development
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead high-performing IT teams, including system administrators, network engineers, and support specialists.
  • Foster a service-oriented culture that bridges technical initiatives with non-technical business units.
Job requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 8+ years in IT operations, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or director-level position.
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO) and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Experience managing IT integration through organizational scaling, mergers, or acquisitions.Demonstrated experience with AI automation platforms and enterprise productivity tool rollouts.
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
  • Good team player with a startup mindset, demonstrating respect for timelines and collaborative spirit.
