Job summary

SingHealth Community Hospitals seeks an Informatics Nurse to guide nurses in clinical areas through information technology, delivering safe patient care through digital tools and training.

You will lead EMR initiatives, support UAT and roll-out, and engage stakeholders to ensure frontline staff are proficient with new systems across sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing with active registration.
• Formal training or certification in Nursing Informatics preferred.

Informatics Nurse

As a valuable member of the SCH family, you will play an integral part in providing guidance and education to nurses in the clinical area through the effective use of information technology and related activities, to deliver efficient and safe patient care.

Job Description

• Lead nursing digitalisation and EMR initiatives, driving the adoption of electronic medical records and digital tools across nursing teams.
• Support project implementation across all phases, including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing (UAT), roll-out, and post-go-live support.
• Deliver training, user support, and stakeholder engagement to ensure clinical staff are equipped and confident in using new systems.
• Act as a liaison between clinical teams and IT to optimise workflows and ensure technology solutions meet frontline clinical needs.
• Drive process improvement and innovation initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality of care through digital means.
• Evaluate and implement healthcare technologies and system integrations, ensuring new solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with organisational goals.

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Nursing or its equivalent
• Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma in Nursing or its equivalent
• Formal training/ certification in Nursing Informatics, Health Informatics is preferred.
• Valid Registered Nurse practicing certificate issued by Singapore Nursing Board
• Valid BCLS certification
• Comfortable with shift work (2-rotating shift) and open to deployment cross sites under SingHealth Community Hospitals
