Job summary

LINKEDCORP HR CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated early years educator to develop and plan programmes for children in the centre. The role involves implementing classroom and outdoor activities, ensuring a safe learning environment, and preparing student portfolios for parent-teacher conferences.

You will evaluate lessons, communicate progress to families, and maintain records for audits and licensing. Collaborative teamwork and event planning with the community are also required.

Qualifications

• ACEY qualification is required.
• Preferably 1–2 years of infant care experience in a pre-school setting.
• Demonstrate good communication skills.
• Adequate knowledge of current early childhood care and education development theories, research and practices.
• Possess classroom management skills and able to handle children's temperaments.
• Possess the necessary skills to plan, execute and evaluate appropriate developmental lessons.

Responsibilities

• Develop and plan early childhood programmes for the centre.
• Implement and execute classroom and outdoor activities with a safe, conducive learning environment.
• Complete lesson evaluations/reflection.
• Communicate with families on their child's progress and development.
• Maintain proper children's records & prepare portfolios for PTC.
• Maintain records for centre operation for audit, licensing, tracking, monitoring.
• Participate and share ideas during meetings.
• Provide coverage for staff on leave and adhoc duties.
• Plan and carry out events, excursions, workshops, collaborations with community.
