Job summary

LINKEDCORP HR CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD. is hiring an Early Years educator to develop and implement engaging programmes for children. You will manage classroom and outdoor activities, ensure a safe learning environment and conduct progress reflections.

You will communicate with families, maintain child records, and assist with audits, licensing and events. ACEY is required, with 1-2 years of infant care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ACEY is required.
• 1-2 years infant care experience in a pre-school setting is preferred.
• Demonstrate good communication skills.
• Knowledge of current early childhood care and education development theories, research and practices.
• Possess classroom management skills and handle children's temperaments.
• Have skills to plan, execute and evaluate developmental lessons.

Responsibilities

• Develop and plan early childhood programmes for children in the centre.
• Implement classroom and outdoor activities; ensure a safe, conducive learning environment.
• Complete lesson evaluations/reflection.
• Communicate with families on child progress and development.
• Maintain proper children’s records & prepare portfolios for Parent–Teacher Conferences.
• Maintain records for centre operations – audits, licensing, tracking and monitoring.
• Participate actively in meetings and share ideas, suggestions and concerns.
• Provide coverage for staff on leave and other adhoc duties.
• Plan and carry out events, excursions, workshops and community collaborations.
