Job summary

PAP Community Foundation is looking for a dedicated early years educator to plan and implement a well-structured, child-centred curriculum under supervision. You will create a stimulating environment for exploration and play while aligning with the Singapore ECE framework.

You will collaborate with Centre staff and parents to support children's learning, assess needs, and participate in ongoing professional development to deliver high-quality care and education in a safe setting.

Qualifications

• Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) or ACEY, or equivalent recognized by ECDA.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the curriculum under the Centre Supervisor to ensure a well-run, engaging and child-centred programme.
• Create a learner-centred environment where children can explore, experiment, and interact to learn.
• Participate actively in assessing the needs of the children.
• Work with and support the Centre Supervisor and other staff to enhance children's educational experiences.
• Contribute talents and professional expertise towards the centre's initiatives and projects.
• Establish good relationships with parents as partners in care and education.
• Keep abreast of educational developments and upgrade skills and knowledge.
• Be involved in simple action research projects.
• Model professionalism in appearance, speech and action.
• Create a safe learning environment and provide the best possible care.

Education
