Job summary

A leading educational institution is seeking a passionate educator in Singapore to implement classroom programs and ensure the safety of children. Candidates must have qualifications in early childhood education such as the Higher Certificate in Infant Care or the Advanced Certificate in Early Years. Salary is up to $4,000 plus bonuses. Islandwide locations are available based on proximity to home.

• Assist children in coping with anxiety during transitions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and implement the programme for the class in accordance with centres policies and framework.
• Carrying out routine care duties.
• Create an open, friendly, and cooperative atmosphere in which children and parents feel comfortable and secure.
• Responsible for the safety and hygiene of the children.
• Provide experiences that promote individual expression through conversation, play, and creative interaction.
• Complete progress reports and prepare a developmental portfolio for each child.
• Ensure that parents receive adequate information about their childs progress at the centre.
• Assist the child in coping with anxiety during the transition phase (separation from parents when placed into infant care school)

Requirements

• Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) Candidates who are currently undergoing HCIC/ACEY are welcome to apply too
• Passionate in teaching

Salary: Up to $4,000 + AWS + variable bonus
