Job summary

Ace @ Work is seeking an Infant Educarer (English) to join our brand-new Kolam Ayer Community Centre team, supporting infants aged 2 to 18 months. You’ll contribute to a warm, safe, and nurturing environment from the outset.

You'll nurture, plan developmentally appropriate activities, partner with parents, and work with fellow educators to create high-quality care. The role emphasizes patience, communication, and a genuine love for early childhood learning.

Qualifications

• HCIC and ACEY recognised by ECDA.
• Patience and caring approach for infants.
• Strong communication with parents and team.

Responsibilities

• Nurture and care for infants with attention to safety, hygiene, and well-being.
• Plan age-appropriate activities supporting sensory, motor, language, and cognitive development.
• Build trust with parents and communicate child progress and routines.
• Support feeding, diapering, nap times and daily routines with patience.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging learning environment.
• Collaborate with educators to provide consistent, high-quality care.

What You'll Do

• Nurture & Care: Provide attentive, responsive care while ensuring infants' safety, hygiene, comfort, and well-being.
• Support Development: Plan and carry out age-appropriate activities that encourage sensory, motor, language, and cognitive development.
• Partner with Parents: Build trusting relationships with parents and keep them informed about their child's progress, routines, and well-being.
• Manage Daily Routines: Support feeding, diapering, nap times, and other daily routines with patience and care.
• Create a Positive Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming, and stimulating space where infants can learn, explore, and grow.
• Work as a Team: Collaborate with fellow educators to provide consistent, high-quality care and learning experiences.

What We're Looking For

• Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) recognised by ECDA
• Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) recognised by ECDA
• A genuinely loving, patient, and passionate approach to working with infants
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong commitment to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• First Aid Certification is preferred
